Neonatal and Pediatric Respiratory Care

This course enables the students with the fundamental background and principles and concepts of neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapy. Specific topics that will be discussed will include: growth and development of the fetus, the perinatal period, the changes that occur at birth, respiratory and cardiovascular abnormalities, and the respiratory therapy and equipment used to treat such conditions.
