Sign Language IV

This course will assist the student in developing the background and skills necessary to participate in one-to-one or small group conversations. Class activities focus on developing expressive and receptive conversational skills through the use of drill, videotapes, discussion of idioms and colloquial usage and opportunities to participate in signed conversation with deaf people and other signers. Also included in the class will be vocabulary development, rules of social interaction, the process of conversation, and discussion of deaf/hearing interactions.
