River Valley Community College

currently offers courses at the Keene Academic Center in Keene, NH. These courses offer increased access to postsecondary education to the residents of the Monadnock region.

The Keene Academic Center provides local access and assistance in college admissions procedure, information regarding academic advising, support services and financial aid. The Academic Center offers partial services and also presents a direct link to the main campus in Claremont for students in need of full services.

Many courses, including basic skills and general education, are available. Classes may be offered during the day and evening hours. It is possible to complete some degree and certificate programs at the Keene Academic Center. Students should consult program listings for additional information. The Keene Academic Center also acts as a vital link to the local business community for economic development in the area.

The Keene Academic Center is subject to all the policies of the college. The college reserves the right to cancel courses and/or move students to the main campus for program completion if enrollment is low in program and/or courses.

There is a computer lab on site and available to students when classes are not scheduled in the lab.

Directions to the Keene Center:

From the North
Take Route 9/10 South or Route 12 South to the "T" intersection of Routes 9, 10 and 12 and Route 101. Turn left and pass through 2 sets of traffic lights (Winchester Street and Main Street). As you leave the intersection at Main Street, the road will become Route 101. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left onto Optical Avenue. At the "T" intersection with Marlboro Street, turn left. The campus will be on the right, approximately mile: 310 Marlboro Street. Parking is available at the north side of the building.

From the South
From Route 10 or Route 12, bear right at the intersection with Route 101. Proceed on 101 East until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Optical Avenue, turn left onto Optical Avenue. At the "T" intersection with Marlboro Street, turn left. The campus will be on the right, approximately mile: 310 Marlboro Street. Parking is available at the north side of the building.

From the East
Take Route 101 West to the first set of lights at Optical Avenue. Turn right onto Optical Avenue. At the "T" intersection with Marlboro Street, turn left. The campus will be on the right, approximately mile: 310 Marlboro Street. Parking is available at the north side of the building.

From the West
Take Route 9 into Keene. At the junction of Routes 9, 10, 12 and Route 101, continue east through traffic lights at Winchester Street and Main Street. As you leave the intersection at Main Street, the road will become Route 101. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left onto Optical Avenue. At the "T" intersection with Marlboro Street, turn left. The campus will be on the right, approximately mile: 310 Marlboro Street. Parking is available at the north side of the building.
