Physical Therapist Assistant Transfer Agreement

Franklin Pierce College (FPC) hosts our state's only physical therapy program. Students are admitted into that program after completion of a Bachelor's of Science degree. Graduates from NHCTC - Claremont PTA program can have all 72 credits of course work transferred to FPC (assuming a minimum grade of "C" on any course) toward a bachelor's degree. Graduates can also take other courses (e.g. Chemistry and Physics, etc.) on this campus in preparation for transfer to FPC. Franklin Pierce College can accept up to 90 credits from an outside institution toward the 120 credit Bachelor of Science degree. The physical therapist program at Franklin Pierce College is at Doctoral level. Graduates earn their DPT degree.

Graduates are also encouraged to investigate other college / university majors such as athletic training, massage therapy, or exercise physiology for continuing education.
