Alfred Williams – President
JD, University of Illinois College of Law; BA, Cornell University
I was appointed President of RVCC in 2018 with over 20 years of higher education experience. During my career, I have focused on encouraging students to graduate on time and with as little student loan debt as possible. I am always amazed at the accomplishments of our students who are often balancing families and careers while working diligently in classes. This dedication pays off and our graduates are in high demand and embark upon careers or transfer after graduation. River Valley is a special place where the faculty and staff are dedicated to student success and I am proud to be a part of the RVCC community.
Jennifer Cournoyer – Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs

My passion has always been equity of access. With almost ten years of teaching experience and almost twenty years in public and academic libraries, I love feeling that everything I have worked on has prepared me to serve the students, faculty, and staff at River Valley. I am proud of the work I have done to help bring food, mental health services, and transportation to RVCC, and I am excited to support faculty in all the innovative teaching and learning that is happening in our classrooms.
Josh Lamoureux – Associate Vice President of Strategy & Workforce Development

With nearly a decade of working for larger higher education institutions, I’m pleased to be with a college that puts students first and values direct community impact. My background in human resources, project management, and training helps me in my role to enable our faculty, staff, and programs to succeed and reach new potential. By working towards a common purpose of strategic change and innovation, River Valley pushes our institution forward to new heights.
