Physical Therapist Assistant Faculty

Laurie Clute, PT, MS
Laurie attended the University of Vermont for her undergraduate and graduate education. She has experience in acute care, sub-acute rehabilitation, out-patient, long term care and home health. Currently she works per diem at Cheshire Medical Center and volunteers in physical therapy services at a local free clinic.


Kim-Laura Boyle, PT, DPT 
Kim holds a BA in Biology from Colby-Sawyer College, an MS in Biology from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington and in 2006 received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University. She currently works for herself at Keelin Studio for Strength & Wellness in Newbury, NH. Kim's clinical interests include outpatient orthopedics, primary care physical therapy, and injury prevention & wellness. As part of her practice, she does video-based running evaluations and is passionate about how proper biomechanics can prevent injury and improve performance. Kim is a Professor in the PTA program and is also the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education for the PTA students.


Amanda Couitt, PT, DPT

Amanda earned her BA in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College, where she also captained the rugby team for 2 years. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2006. Having traveled to Hawaii and Tennessee with her military husband, Amanda has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient rehad, acute care, aquatics and skilled nursing. Amanda is a member of the PTA program faculty and Director of Clinical Education.
