CO.STARTERS is a 12-week cohort-based program for business starters.

If you are someone who has an idea for a business, who has just started a business but needs help making it work, or who is a seasoned business owner who wants to launch a new product or service, CO.STARTERS is for YOU! The program consists of three key elements, each designed to support your success: weekly workshops, 1:1 business advising, and co-working space.

Each week, your CO.STARTERS cohort meets for three hours of fast-paced, hands-on work focused on developing your business. Your trained facilitator guides you through the process. Guest speakers, successful entrepreneurs themselves or important professional resources for entrepreneurs (like attorneys and accountants), will participate in many of the sessions. Between workshops, you are assigned field work that helps you further develop and refine each aspect of your plan.

You will be matched with a business advisor from the SBDC who will meet with you through the course of the program to help you one-on-one as you encounter specific opportunities and challenges.

You will have access to co-working space at our Lebanon Academic Center. The co-working space is a “hot desk” model, where you may use any available desk or table in THEbusinessLAB during regular business hours. You will have access to free wifi and free printing and will also have the ability to book our conference rooms, classrooms, and lecture hall  when they are not in use by the academic programs. You will also have access to a variety of services offered to the RVCC community, such as borrowing privileges from our library, which has a large collection of resources for entrepreneurs (and families!).

Now accepting applications for Spring 2022 CO.STARTERS!

The Spring 2022 CO.STARTERS group will meet on a weekly schedule from March through May. The time and day of the weekly meeting is set for Thursdays from 6.30p to 9.30p, but may be adjusted if another day or time would be better for the majority of the group.

In order to make the program accessible, convenient and safe, the program will be conducted on Zoom, rather than in person.

The cost of the program is $325. Thanks to the generous support of the CDBG-Micro program administered by the NH CDFA, scholarships for low-moderate income starters are available.
