Cedarcrest

Cedarcrest, based in Keene, provides continuous care for disabled children and their families by enriching their lives and providing them medical care and comfort. River Valley works closely with Cedarcrest to deliver a leadership development training program for Cedarcrest employees, allowing them to provide the highest quality of care to their clients. This program is designed to create a positive environment for children and families, supporting team building, employee engagement and customer service. River Valley worked with Cedarcrest to develop this unique program, customized for the clients that Cedarcrest serves.

Ruger

Ruger is one of the leading gun manufacturers in the United States, based in Newport, NH. Ruger and River Valley have partnered to deliver a training program in advanced manufacturing for their employees, strengthening their workforce skills and helping them stay competitive and provide quality products. By working closely with the leadership at Ruger, River Valley designed this flexible program to be both online and hands-on at Ruger’s facilities for the convenience of the students and compatibility with their work schedules.

Whelen

Whelen Engineering is a global leader of customized safety, lighting, and siren producer based in Charlestown, NH. River Valley has worked closely with Whelen over the years to provide multiple trainings to strengthen and educate their workforce. River Valley has trained over 100 employees in Microsoft applications, with programs designed to increase each employee’s familiarity and skill level. Each student was given personal time with instructors and left the trainings feeling confident and prepared.

Omega Optical

Omega Optical is a Vermont based manufacturer of precision optical filters. Omega was looking to increase efficiency in their CNC department on the manufacturing floor. To do this, River Valley developed and delivered an introductory training in machining concepts, specifically around blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T), and G&M code programming. This program helped employees increase their skill levels and provided cross training between departments to increase the employees’ flexibility and help improve overall production.
