LNA Program

There is an urgent need for healthcare workers in the region.  In New Hampshire, Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) are forecast to have the largest number of annual openings among occupations requiring some post-secondary training, at 1,169, between 2016-2026.

River Valley’s new Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Program is a starting point in the Nursing field.  This is a fast-paced 7 week course.  It consists of 40 hours of lecture, 24 hours of lab, and 60 hours of clinical. The college has structured the program to abide by necessary social distancing and safety responses to COVID-19.

For more information, see the LNA Program here.

CPR

It is well known that providing immediate Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR decreases the risk of brain damage or death.

Some companies or industries, such as the healthcare field, require some sort of CPR or First Aid Training.  River Valley’s BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR class is geared towards medical professionals such as Emergency Medical Service providers, MDs, Nurses, LPNs, LNAs, and other professionals working in Allied Health Sciences (however, all are welcome).

The course covers needed topics required for Adult, Child, and Infant CPR with AED and is AHA certified.
