Cost

Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support – American Heart Association BLS is offered one time, at no cost for RVCC students. RVCC students who sign up to take the BSL a second time will be billed $60. Students who have recently graduated within the past 3 months will be billed $65. This fee will be added to your student account in SIS where you can submit a payment by e-check or credit/debit card. You will not have access to the program until this fee is paid.

RQI Program

The web-based program is through RQI 1 Stop. Students will need to complete the online didactic portion of the program, and then come to RVCC’s Claremont Campus to complete the manikin portion of the program. 

Register

Please complete the form below. Once registered for the program you will receive two emails from RQI 1 Stop. The first email will give you instructions on how to set up your account using your student email address a newly created password. The second email is the actual BLS assignment. Please allow 48 to 72 hours for the two emails from RQI after submitting the form.

Manikins

Once you have completed the online portion of the course, the Manikins available Mon-Fri, 8AM-4PM in the RVCC Library, room 100E in Claremont, NH. No appointment is needed. You will need your RQI login and password to sign into the tablet connected to the manikins.

Suggestions for completing the manikins are practicing ventilating/bagging the manikins with correct head tilt/chin lift before starting the check-off, and watching the available demonstration videos included in the program. 

Allow 20 to 30 minutes to complete the manikins.
